Bouncing Bundles

Care for Infants

6 weeks to 14-months

In our Bouncing Bundles classroom, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for each infant during their first year of life. In our shoe-free classroom, our staff prioritizes every infant’s development and well-being by fostering language, physical, social, and emotional skills. Our primary caregivers develop engaging activities tailored to each child’s developmental stage and schedule. Staff begin teaching American Sign Language to our infants for words such as “more,” “milk,” and “eat” to help bridge the gap between receptive and expressive language as infants begin to express their needs and want. Our Bouncing Bundles classroom has a 1:4 child-to-staff ratio with a maximum class size of 8 children. We follow safe sleep practices and all children are placed to sleep on their backs. Once children are 12 months old, they transition from a crib to a cot for naptime.

Nutritional Guidelines for Infant Care at Little Eagle Child Care Center

At Little Eagle Child Care Center, we prioritize the health and well-being of every child in our care, including their dietary needs. We kindly ask parents to provide formula and necessary food items for infants not yet consuming table food.
To ensure clarity and safety, all bottles, formula, breast milk, or baby food must be clearly labeled with the child’s name and date of preparation. This labeling practice helps us maintain meticulous records and ensures that each child receives the appropriate nutrition tailored to their needs.

We encourage parents to contact their child’s headteacher for personalized guidance on properly providing breast milk or any other dietary considerations. Our comprehensive parent handbook also offers valuable information and resources to support your child’s nutritional journey.
At Little Eagle Child Care Center, we are committed to fostering healthy eating habits and providing a supportive environment for your child’s development.
